en samling af en masse, jeg har opsamlet igennem tiden. Kopieret fra et word-dokument. Mange af dem er nok reposts, men jeg gad ikke at sortere
The phoenix has been reborn.
The phoenix has been fueled
It's easy to give 100 percent when you can see the light at the end of the tunnel, but true warriors give 100 percent when there is no light at all"
Pain is temporary, pride is forever
Pain is weakness leaving the body
"If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you'll find an excuse."
"Be proud, but never satisfied.
Nothing good comes without a sacrifice
The pain you feel today is the strength you will feel tomorrow
Do your workouts as hell to see heaven
Good luck is the result of hard work and preparation
The last three or four reps is what makes the muscle grow. This area of pain divides the champion from someone else who is not a champion. That's what most people lack, having the guts to go on and just say they'll go through the pain no matter what happens.
You're gonna have to go through hell, worse than any nightmare you've ever dreamed. But when it's over, you'll be the one standing. You know what you have to do. DO IT!"
To look good you have to feel bad
Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.”
Train like an animal, to build the beast
Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much can you take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth.
Real strength is not being able to benchpress your bodyweight times 2. Real strength is not being able to deadlift 600 pounds. Real strength is being knocked on your knees and then coming back
Death before dishonor
Træn til smerten forsvinder og du ikke kan smage andet end bræk i munden!
You shouldn't train with machines but become one!
There are two kinds of people. Those who give up when the pain comes, and those with a mind to take over
The will is what makes you continue after your body gives up
Is that all you got? Haha, I’ll take your best shot.
Champions are an example of what happens when you leave the plain and average thinking. When you dare to dream and you dare to go after that dream, and you make these thoughts and ideas become something more than just a dream.
You got a dream. You gotta protect it.
Don’t ever let somebody tell you, you can’t do something
People that can’t do something themselves, they wanna tell you, you can’t do it
You want something. Go get it – Period
A total commitment is paramount to reaching the ultimate in performance
A great pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do.
One man has enthusiasm for 30 minutes, another for 30 days, but it is the man who has it for 30 years who makes a success of his life
Todays preparation determines tomorrow's achievement
Always act as though it were impossible to fail
The quality of a person’s life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor.
Never let your ego get in the way of your progress
You are not tired. Your mind thinks you are tired. Your body is just warming up. Turn down the brain and turn up the weight
I don’t care how many sets/reps you do as long as you give me everything you got. It is ok to fail, it is not ok to give up
“The only way to be a champion is by going through these forced reps and the torture and pain. That’s why I call it the torture routine. Because it’s like forced torture. Torturing my body. What helps me is to think of this pain as pleasure. Pain make me grow. Growing is what I want. Therefore, for me pain is pleasure. And so when I am experiencing pain I’m in heaven. It’s great. People suggest this is masochistic. But they’re wrong. I like pain for a particular reason. I don’t like needles stuck in my arm. But I do like the pain that is necessary to be a champion”
I will not accept ANYTHING I have not worked for. I will not accept any limitations or boundaries others may try and hold me to. I LEAD a path others struggle to follow
The harder I train and better I eat.....the better my genetics seem to get
Cycling is so hard, the suffering is so intense, that it's absolutely cleansing. The pain is so deep and strong that a curtain descends over your brain... Once, someone asked me what pleasure I took in riding for so long. 'Pleasure?' I said. 'I don't understand the question.' I didn't do it for pleasure. I did it for pain – Lance Armstrong
Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.
Pain is not an obstacle
You have been given a body that can stand anything. It's your mind you have to convince
You don’t drown by falling in the water; you drown by staying there
The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will
Bodybuilding is like building a wall. You don't just go out and build it in 1 day. You say to yourself "i'm going to build the tallest, strongest and most beautiful wall that has ever been". After that, you go out and lay the first brick on your wall. Each day you lay a single brick, and you try to lay that brick as perfect as humanly possible. If you continue that way for 5-10 years, you'll have your wall.
We take our life, our passion and our soul and we put it into something, that we believe is worthy of our best
I have stopped caring about the guy next to me doing cheated lat pulldowns with 50kg more than me. I train my body and not my ego. I have stopped caring about the girls telling me, that I am too big. I pursue my dreams, not theirs. I have stopped caring about my friends telling me, that I should live a little. I live for the forced pain and the strict diet. Whatever everyone does or says, does not matter. The gym is my home and bodybuilding is my life.
"Being defeated is often a temporary condition. Giving up is what makes it permanent."
motivation is a fire from within. If someone else tries to light that fire under you, chances are it will burn very briefly.
If you find yourself trying, stop trying and start fucking doing
There are people who say that they can and there are people who say that they cant
Both are usually right
